According to the Department of Meteorology, the low pressure in the Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal is staying in the same area in the form of a distinct low pressure. It could further condense into a depression, the agency said.

Also, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports have been asked to carefully monitor further instructions. Fishing boats and trawlers operating in North Bay of Bengal have been asked to proceed with caution. Also they are told not to wander in the deep sea.

Meanwhile, the 24-hour weather forecast on Friday night (October 21) said that the weather in the whole country may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies.

Meteorologist Md. Bazulur Rashid said that the low pressure in the Andaman Sea and the adjacent South East Bay of Bengal is staying in the same area in the form of a distinct low pressure. It may condense further and become a depression.

He further said that the day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country. The weather conditions may deteriorate in the coastal areas of Bangladesh in the next two days.

No rainfall was recorded anywhere in the country during the last 24 hours. Yesterday evening the lowest temperature of the country was 17.8 degrees Celsius at Tentulia.

The highest temperature in the country was 35.3 degrees Celsius in Sandwip. Also, the temperature in the capital was 34.4 degrees Celsius.
