Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan, India. The head of government visited Ajmer on the last day of her four-day state visit to the country.
A VVIP flight arrived at Jaipur International Airport in Rajasthan at 9:55 am on Thursday (September 8). Sheikh Hasina then went to Ajmer from there. The Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said that the Prime Minister will offer voluntary prayers and munajat, seeking the development, prosperity and welfare of the country, the people and the entire Muslim Ummah. Earlier, the flight left New Delhi's Palam Airport for Jaipur International Airport at 9:12 am.
Ihsanul Karim said that the Prime Minister will spend some time reciting Fateha and praying at the Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah Sharif, the shrine of Sufi Moinuddin Chishti. Later, Sheikh Hasina will visit different areas of the Ajmer Dargah Sharif. The Indian government has ensured maximum security for the visit of the Bangladeshi head of government. The movement of people in the Ajmer Sharif area has also been controlled. After visiting the Dargah Sharif, Sheikh Hasina will return to the Circuit House. Later, the Prime Minister will leave for the country from Jaipur Airport.
