There will be a total of 300 marks in the 48th Special BCS exam. Out of this, there will be a 200 marks written exam using the MCQ method. And the oral exam will be 100 marks.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order regarding BCS on Tuesday.
The order states that the time for the written test will be 2 hours. Out of the 200 marks, there will be 20 questions in Bengali, 20 in English, 20 in Bangladesh Affairs, 20 in International Affairs, 10 in Mental Ability and 10 in Mathematical Reasoning. The remaining 100 marks will be from subjects relevant to the concerned cadre and post.
Each MCQ will carry one mark, and zero points 50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has started the 48th Special BCS. A final decision has not yet been made on whether the recruitment will be to the health cadre or the education cadre through this special BCS.
