Social media platforms Facebook, Messenger and Instagram were out of service on Tuesday night. Meta's popular social media platform Facebook was down for about an hour and a half. The social media platform was down from 9pm to 10:30pm Bangladesh time on Tuesday. Facebook users were unable to log in to their accounts due to a technical glitch. This caused a global uproar. As users became concerned about their IDs and important information, a war of words broke out between the two social media rivals.  

In this regard, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Threads apps, wrote on his handle on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) at 9:39 pm, "Chill guys, wait a few minutes, everything will be fine."
