Twenty-five Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) rank officers of Bangladesh Police have been transferred simultaneously.
They were transferred in a notification signed by Inspector General of Police (IG) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun on Tuesday (November 29).
It said that these police officers have been transferred/promoted in the public interest. Along with this, instructions have been given to hand over the responsibilities of the officers to their current workplaces by December 7.
Otherwise, the notification also mentions that they will be considered unwanted releases from December 8.
