Application for admission to the XI starts on December 8, fee is 150 taka

Admission applications for class XI in various colleges will start from December 8. It will continue till December 15. This time too, students will be admitted to class XI on the basis of SSC or equivalent exam results. There will be no exam for admission. Applications for admission will be accepted online. The online application fee has been fixed at 150 taka.

The date for accepting applications for admission to class 11 and other matters were decided in a meeting held at the Ministry of Education on Thursday. Education Minister Dipu Moni joined the meeting virtually. The rest joined the meeting in person.

Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, who attended the meeting, informed Dainik Shiksha.com about the decision on Thursday evening. He also said that applications can be made online with a minimum of five and a maximum of 10 educational institutions in order of preference. The application fee has been set at Tk 150.

He also said, "The college admission fee will remain the same. We hope to receive the ministry's instructions on Friday or Monday. The admission notification will be issued next week."

It is worth noting that the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations were published on November 28. This time, 19 lakh 94 thousand 137 students took the SSC and equivalent examinations and 17 lakh 43 thousand 619 passed. These students are waiting for admission to higher secondary.
