Lakshmipur: The Upazila Census Committee meeting was held in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur.
The Statistics Office organized the event at the Upazila Spandan Conference Room on Tuesday (October 10) afternoon.
Kamalnagar Upazila Census Officer (Acting) Md. Abu Noman Chowdhury presided over the function, with Upazila Chairman Advocate Syed Mohammad Shamsul Alam as the chief guest. Upazila Assistant Education Officer Md. Zahir Uddin was the special guest. Public representatives, teachers, journalists, businessmen and political leaders spoke at the function.
Upazila Census Officer (Acting) Md. Abu Noman Chowdhury said in his speech that the field-based data collection of the household-based database census will start between November 7 and 26. Everyone should be aware that no one is left out of this data collection and that a household is not recorded twice. A vigilant eye should be kept so that Rohingyas are not included. All citizens of the country should be included in the census by filling the prescribed form.
