Suicide by consuming poison in Kamalnagar

Amjad Hossain Amu, Kamalnagar (Lakshmipur): A woman named Taslima Akhtar (24) committed suicide by consuming poison in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur.
The incident took place at the house of Abdul Hadi in Char Falkon, upazila, on Thursday afternoon (April 18).

The deceased's sister, Jannatul Ferdaus, said that Taslima married Raju of Char Falkon Union 9 years ago. Her sister committed suicide by consuming poison due to mental torture at her husband's house. The deceased Taslima has a 4-year-old daughter. Taslima is the daughter of Ayubnagar Md. Jamal of Char Falkon Union.

Upazila Police Station SI Jahangir Alam confirmed the incident. Preparations for the case are underway.
