Prime Minister mourns the death of Kazi Shahed Ahmed

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief over the death of Kazi Shahed Ahmed, the founder and editor of the daily Ajker paper, Gemcon Group founder, which was reported by the Prime Minister's Press Wing on the night of Saturday (August 28).

Prominent sports organizer Kazi Shahed Ahmed breathed his last at a hospital in the capital on Monday evening at 7:15 pm.

Kazi Shahed Ahmed's Buss was 82 years old, he left behind numerous benefactors including his wife and three sons. His wife Amina Ahmed is a prominent Rabindra Sangeet artiste. Son Kazi Nabil Ahmed is a member of the Awami League Member of Parliament in Jessore-3 (Sadar) Constituency. Mezzo boy Kazi Anis Ahmed is the publisher of English daily Dhaka Tribune and Online Portal Bangla Tribune.
