Rangpur's two batsmen, Brendon McCullum and Johnson Charles, took on Comilla's bowlers in Mirpur on Monday in a bid to reach the final. Johnson scored 105 and McCullum scored 78 runs.

Riding on the stormy batting of both of them, Rangpur Riders scored 192 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Hasan Ali, Mehedi Hasan and Saifuddin took 1 wicket each for Comilla.

Earlier, Comilla won the toss on Sunday evening and sent Rangpur Riders into bat. However, rain stopped play after the first 7 overs. Rangpur will bat again at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur at 6 pm on Monday. The team that wins the second qualifier will face Dhaka Dynamites in the final.
