Voting is underway in the second phase of Gujarat assembly elections. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote at Ranip in Ahmedabad.
According to the Times of India, Modi reached Nishan Public School in Ranip at 9:30 am on Monday to cast his vote. He greeted the crowd by waving and offering namaste in his own style as he arrived.
While walking to the booth, people on both sides of the road were seen chanting slogans of 'Modi, Modi' in unison.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel cast his vote alongside the Prime Minister in the second phase of polling in the state. Home Minister Amit Shah will also cast his vote today.
