After the World Cup, the club football battle has returned to the field. Liverpool took on Leicester City in the English Premier League on Friday night. The All Reds won without scoring a goal at home at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah's side defeated Leicester City, who are in 13th place in the league table, 2-1.

Jurgen Klopp's side fell behind early in the match at home. In the fourth minute of the first half, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, assisted by Patson Dakar, beat Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker to put Leicester ahead. Jordan Henderson's team started to increase their attacking edge after falling behind.
