Fire at Dhaka College

Fire has been reported in Dhaka College in the capital, two fire service units are working to control the fire.

Anwarul Islam Dolan, an official of the media department of Fire Service and Civil Defense, told reporters that the fire started on the second floor of the second floor of the botany department adjacent to the main administrative building of the college on Friday around 11 pm.

He said that a pump has been installed for the use of water in the pond of Dhaka College to bring the fire under control.

The fire is believed to have started from an electrical short-circuit, which has been shut down for the entire college's electricity connection for safety reasons.
