Sheikh Hasina leaves Dhaka

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Prime Minister and his entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a VVIP flight of Bangladesh Biman today Thursday (September 15) around 10 am.

The High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the UK will welcome the Prime Minister in London, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the Queen's funeral at Osteatminster Abbey on Monday (September 19).

The Prime Minister will leave London for New York on a special flight of Bangladesh Biman on the same day, and the Prime Minister will welcome the Prime Minister at the John F Kennedy International Airport, Muhammad Imran, Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States and Muhammad Abdul Muhith, the permanent representative of Bangladesh at the United Nations.
