Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wished that people's lives would be more beautiful and successful in the new year.

He wished this good for the countrymen from the Bengali New Year greetings ceremony with the leaders and workers of Dalit and various affiliated organizations at Ganabhaban on Sunday (April 14).

On New Year's greetings to expatriate Bengalis and countrymen, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "I wish the new sun of the new year to beautify, manifest and succeed in people's lives."

The Prime Minister expressed hope that the country will move towards more prosperity and the progress of the development that has started, will continue the progress of the country and the Bengali nation will continue with respect in the world court.

"We will make Bangladesh a prosperous golden Bangladesh in the midst of the dream of the Father of the Nation, inshallah, and the country will continue to work in the country. The government is working towards that goal, not being able to build a golden Bangladesh.

At 10 am in the morning, when Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came to the venue, Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore's come O Baishakh, Anandloke Mangalaloke, Alo Amar Alo and Salil Chowdhury's Dhitang Dhitang Bole and several songs were performed in unison.

In the event, various units of Aomi League and allied organizations, including the central and metropolitan areas, wished the Prime Minister a Happy New Year with flowers.

Later, in a short speech, the Prime Minister wished the countrymen a Happy New Year and wished everyone good luck.

The guests who come to Ganabhaban will be given various types of Bengali traditional food including musi, muji, sweets and sweets.
