Sheikh Hasina to visit Japan in the last week of November

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Japan in the last week of November this year, and Bangabandhu will visit the country between November 23 and 30.

The decision was announced on Wednesday (September 28) from an inter-ministerial meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is known that the Prime Minister's visit to Japan is over in the last seven days of November this year. The visit is going to be between 23 and 30 November, although the final date has not been fixed yet, the two countries are working on the date of the visit of the head of government and other incidental issues.

Officials have learned that the Prime Minister is going on a visit to Tokyo in the golden year of Bangladesh-Japan diplomatic relations. The two countries are preparing for a memorandum of understanding and agreement on the two countries during Sheikh Hasina's visit, and Bangladesh will want more Japanese investment during the visit.

On the other hand, Tokyo will want Dhaka to support Dhaka in the Indo-Pacific region strategy vision, but Dhaka does not want to be a part of the military or any other initiative outside the economic or development initiative of this strategy.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina last visited Japan three years ago in 2019.
