A fishmonger named Monir Hossain (40) was called from Bai in Narsingdi's Palash and killed by miscreants.

On Saturday (October 1) morning, Palash Thana police recovered the body from the yard of Narsingharchar village of Palash upazila of Palash upazila of Narsingdi district and the deceased Monir Hossain was the son of Jamal Uddin of Narsingharchar village of Ghazarita unit of Palash upazila.

In addition to the fishing business, he used to work on various brick kiln workers. Police and the deceased's relatives said that on Friday night around 12:00 AM, a call came on the mobile phone of Monir Hossain.

Palash Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Ilyach said, "The police have been sent to the spot after the news of the murder. It is not clear who or who has taken place in the incident. We are investigating with utmost importance. The body of the deceased has been sent to the morgue for investigation. This incident has been filed with the Palash Thana case.
