Named State fell SSC examinee of death

An SSC examinee named Ridmi Akhtar died after suffering a stroke after falling while praying in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur.
 
The incident took place on Thursday (September 15) evening at the house of Gafur Uddin Haji in the Matabbarhat area of Charfalkon upazila. Relatives said that he died due to depression after failing his exams. There is a lot of mourning among his family and relatives in his grief. Ridmi is the daughter of businessman Mozammel Haque from the same house and an SSC examinee of Towaha Smriti Girls High School in the upazila. Family and school teachers said that the SSC exams started at 11 am.
 
The exam hall for the Toaha Smriti Girls High School students was Hazirhat Millat Academy. Ridmi also sat for the exam in Bengali First along with other classmates. She did not finish her writing within the stipulated time. After that, Ridmi cried a lot when she went home. She did not even eat food as the exam was bad. Ridmi's uncle, businessman Amjad Hossain, said that Ridmi was disappointed with the exam. She cried a lot when she came home. She did not even eat lunch. She suddenly fell from her seat while praying Maghrib. Later, a local village doctor was brought in. The doctor arrived and confirmed Ridmi's death.
 
Zayed Billah, headmaster of Towaha Smriti Girls High School, said, "Ridmi was a good student. Her death is painful. I heard that she didn't even eat lunch due to exam frustration."
