BCB announces Women's Asia Cup squad

The Bangladesh women's cricket team has given good news to Tiger fans this week.Nigar Sultana Jyoti has confirmed the main stage of the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup.

The trophy of the qualifiers will be returned to the country today, while the door is not closed, the BCB has announced the squad for this tournament.

The GAB is from October 1 to October 15. All the matches of this season will be held in Sylhet. Bangladesh will be against Thailand in the first match of the tournament.

 Bangladesh squad:

Nigar Sultana Jyoti (Adhina), Shamima Sultana, Farzana Haque Pinki, Rumana Ahmed, Ritu Moni, Lata Mondal, Salma Khatun, Shobna Mostari, Nahida Akhtar, Murshida Khatun, Jahanara Alam, Fahima Khatun, Sanjida Akhtar, Fariha Islam, Trishna and Sohli Akhtar.

Stand by: Marufa Akhtar, Md. Sharmin Akhter Supta, Nuzhat Tasnia and Rabeya Khan.
