Deep sea fishing is not legally allowed, nor is there a fitness certificate, but hundreds of trawlers are running into the Bay of Bengal every year. Most trawlers do not have life jackets, life bots or emergency communication. Many of the fishermen are not even getting weather warnings, and the fishermen are losing their lives one after another, but this dangerous voyage does not stop.
