Pintu files nomination for Noakhali Zilla Parishad election

Bangladesh Awami League nominated candidate Abdul Wadud Pintu, the militant president of Noakhali Maijdi City Awami League and renegade leader, has submitted his nomination for the post of chairman in the Noakhali District Council elections.

He submitted the nomination to Deputy Commissioner Dewan Mahbubur Rahman on September 15. District Awami League President Principal Khairul Anam Chowdhury Selim along with leaders and activists of A. League, Jubo League, Swechcha Sebak League, Chhatra League and other affiliated and associate organizations were present at the time.
