Uncle drowned in water tragic death

Two children died tragically after drowning in Kuigram, about the two dead children, uncle-nephew.

The incident took place on Wednesday (December 10) around 9 am in Kartimari area of Jadurchar Union of Roumari Upazila.

The deceased are Shahbab Mandal (2) son of Shahjahan of Kartimari area and Abu Taleb son of Abu Taleb of Diglapa area.

Locals said that in the morning, two children went to play in front of the house and went to the water of the pond next to the basil. Later, the family members rescued the two children from the pond and rushed them to the hospital.

The death of two children killed in the area has come to a halt.
