Israeli wartime cabinet minister Benny Gantz crashes during a cross-country bike ride near Kibbutz Yad Mordechai in southern Israel.
Gantz broke his leg in Monday's accident, Hebrew media said in a statement, citing his office.
After initial treatment at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon, Gantz was taken to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv for further tests.
The head of the National Unity Party and the extremist leader is expected to be released from the hospital today. Source: Times of Israel.
