'Hundred Poets Around the World for Love' published

The cover of the book 'Hundred Poets Around the World for Love' has been unveiled. The book's cover unveiling and publication festival of this collection, which contains poems by 100 poets, was held at the Biswa Sahitya Kendra on Bangla Motorway in the capital on Monday afternoon.

Poet Joy Goswami, poet and professor Tapodhir Bhattacharya, founder of the World Literature Center Abdullah Abu Sayeed, poet Kamal Chowdhury, and poet and professor Shamim Reza were present as guests at the event, moderated by poet Shakira Parveen Suma.

The program was presided over by poet Shamim Shahan, editor of 'Granthi'. After Shamim Shahan's welcome speech, poet Shahed Kayes delivered a welcome speech at the program.

The collection has been edited by poet Shamim Shahan, editor of 'Granthi'. In his speech, Shamim Shahan said that this is not just a collection of poems, but a bond of love between 100 poets from different countries of the world.

He said that after long-term planning and online discussions with numerous poets from different languages, this collection of poems by 100 poets is being published.

The event was attended by renowned poets, writers and novelists of the country as invited guests. Poet Farid Kabir, novelist Zakir Talukder, poet and editor Jewel Mazhar, poet Asad Mannan, poet Mohammad Sadiq, photographer Nasir Ali Mamun, poet Kumar Chakraborty, novelist Prashant Mridha, novelist Rajib Noor, poet Mujib Mehedi, poet Zafar Ahmed Rashed, poet Ayesha Jharna, poet Monika Chakraborty, poet Junan Nasheed, poet Amir Khasru Swapan, poet Suman Faruk, poet Moniruzzaman Mintu, poet Altaf Shahnewaz, folk culture expert and writer Suman Kumar Das and many others were present at the event.

Also present at the unveiling ceremony were Indian poets Bibhas Roy Chowdhury, Gautam Guhray, Nikhilesh Roy, Banani Chakraborty, Shamim Ahmed, and others. After the unveiling of the collection, the guests delivered their speeches.

Incidentally, on June 27 last year, the British journal of South Asian literature, philosophy and sociology launched a Facebook live series titled 'Hundred Poets Around the World for Love'. Renowned poets from more than 25 countries around the world participated in this 20-episode series.
