Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that if BNP leaders cover their eyes with their palms, they will not be able to see any achievements from the Prime Minister's visit to India. Although the expectations of the countrymen were fulfilled by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India, the expectations of the BNP were not fulfilled because they want hostile relations with their neighbors, especially with India.

He also called on BNP leaders to not spread propaganda and rumors about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India, but rather to look in the mirror and see what the achievements of the visit to India during their rule were.

He made this call to BNP leaders while briefing journalists at a regular press conference held at his residence on Saturday.

Referring to the politics of BNP, which is to wait with flowers and sweets at the embassy door by openly showing hostility, the Awami League General Secretary said, "They have built a wall of suspicion and mistrust between the two countries, spreading the poisonous fumes of communalism."
