On the Prime Minister's birthday; Development drawing competition in Lakshmipur

On the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, 15 winners of the Lakshmipur Development Drawing Competition have been awarded.

Former district Chhatra League president and Jubo League leader Chowdhury Mahmudunnabi Sohel organized this event at Daspara High School in the upazila on Thursday (September 29) afternoon. Earlier, fruit tree saplings were distributed among more than a hundred students of the school.

The meeting was presided over by the school management committee president Morshedul Amin Babu and was attended by headmaster Mohammad Imam Hossain, Ramganj municipal councilor Kamrul Hasan Faisal Mal, Chhatra League leader Abdur Razzak, Zahid Hasan Shuvo and Sohel Chowkia, among others.

Sabrina Yasmin, a student of class 10, won first place for drawing a picture of Bangabandhu's March 7 speech. Samia Tasneem, a student of class 6, and Nusrat Jahan, a student of class 7, were awarded for drawing similar pictures.

Hafifa Jahan of class 10, Fahmida Akhter of class 9, Afrin Sultana of class 8 and Jannatul Nur Jinia of class 6 were awarded for drawing a picture of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In addition, 8 other winners were awarded for drawing the Padma Bridge, Karnaphuli Tunnel and the Jubo League flag.

At the end of the discussion, the guests presented their awards.

Jubo League leader Chowdhury Mahmudunnabi Sohel said, "Bangabandhu is the great architect of independence. Sheikh Hasina is the leader of Bangladesh's liberation. She is the leader of development. Everyone should know about their biographies. There is a lot to learn from their biographies."
