In the same year 2025, the country's crime situation has improved in the current situation, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmad said that all types of crimes have decreased.
He said this at a press conference held at the conference room of the Secretariat on Monday, saying that he has taken the initiative to ‘boost up’ the police force, the minister said.
In this regard, the Home Minister said in the press conference that 15 policemen who played a dominant role in various important events have been given an honor and financial reward.
Among them, there are some policemen related to the investigation of the murder case of the child Ramisa in Pallavi of the capital and the arrest of the accused. Three members of the Naval Police who played an important role in the protection of life and three policemen who contributed to the arrest of four accused in the incident of organized rape in Munshiganj have been present.
Each of the awardees has been given a financial prize of Rs 20,000 and a special badge has also been given to a member of the group.
When asked about the law and order situation in the press conference, the Home Minister said in the press conference, ‘It has been three months since our assuming duty."
