A child, approximately 12 years old, has been found in Sadarpur Upazila of Faridpur. The child is unable to say anything except his own name and that of his father.

The child's name is Sabbir and his father's name is Shahjahan. Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Subrata Goldar confirmed this information at around 2 pm on Saturday (September 10). Earlier, the local people left the child at the police station around 10 pm on Friday.

Police said that around 10 pm on Friday, some people in the area saw the child wandering around in a depressed state. Later, when they asked for his name and address, he could not say anything except his own name and father's name. Later, the locals left him at the police station.

Confirming the truth of the incident, Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Subrata Goldar said, "The child has lost his way and address. Now he is unable to say where his home is. He remains silent when asked. We have taken him into custody. We will explain to him if we find his guardian."
