Death toll from floods, landslides in Philippines rises to 72

At least 72 people have been killed in the tropical storm Nalga in the Philippines, and many others have been buried under the ground.

On Friday (October 28), the bodies of 11 people were first recovered from the montane region of the southeast territorial region of the country, and the death toll in the rescue operation reached 72.

The region's interior minister Nagutib Cinrimbo has reported that the tropical storm of Mindanao has received much more rain than expected, but unfortunately there have been such loss of life.

The country's disaster officials said that thousands of people have already been evacuated from the potential trajectory of the Jhar, which has been swept away by the government's initiative, and there is a fear of landslides in the central Philippines' Summer province on Friday night.

Meanwhile, rescue workers have said that the rescue operation has been temporarily suspended but the rescue workers have said that it will resume from tomorrow Saturday morning, because many people are feared to be trapped in water in different areas of the province, especially Datu Odin city.
