Professor Siddiqur Rahman pays tribute at Bangabandhu's tomb

Dr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Professor of Medicine Department of Bangladesh Agricultural University, paid tribute by placing a wreath at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj.

He paid his respects by placing flowers at the altar of Bangabandhu's mausoleum on Sunday (September 20) morning. At that time, he observed a moment of silence to pay respect to Bangabandhu and the martyrs of August 15, 1975, and offered a special prayer, seeking forgiveness for their souls.

Agriculturalist Professor Dr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman prayed for the good health, longevity and success of Bangabandhu's daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and Sheikh Rehana, as well as her family members.

Later, he visited the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum adjacent to the tomb complex and signed the visitor's book.

Dr. Nazmul Haque, Chairman of the Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Gopalganj, was present at the time.

Students from the Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine were also present.
