Law and Order Committee meeting held in Baniyachang

The monthly meeting of the Upazila Law and Order Committee was held in Baniachang.

Satisfaction was expressed in the meeting as the overall law and order situation in the upazila is normal.

The meeting was informed that the process of establishing a Ramnath Memorial Library named after world-renowned geographer Ramnath Biswas at his residence is underway.
The meeting was informed that disputes over bills, water bodies, and land have decreased due to the active presence of law enforcement personnel.
It was reported that this was possible due to the continued concerted efforts of all concerned to maintain the overall law and order situation.
The meeting held at the Baniachong Upazila Parishad auditorium on Thursday, December 22 at 3 pm was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Padmasan Singh.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Abul Kashem Chowdhury spoke as the chief guest.

The meeting was addressed by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Iffat Ara Zaman Urmi, Officer-in-Charge Ajay Chandra Deb, Vice Chairman Faruk Amin, UP Chairman Ahad Ali, President of the Corruption Prevention Committee Bipul Bhushan Roy, President of the Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council Swapan Kumar Das, Maoist Ataur Rahman, Sheikh Shahnewaz Phul, President of Baniachong Press Club Mosahed Mia, UP Chairman Arfan Uddin, Manju Kumar Das, Ershad Ali, Farid Ahmed, Masud Qureshi Makki, Hafez Shamrul Islam, Joykumar Das, Sadequr Rahman, Nasiruddin Chowdhury, among others.
