Kamalnagar Correspondent: The Kamalnagar Upazila Conference of the Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Forum (BMSF), formed to realize the 14-point demands of journalists and establish greater unity among journalists across the country, has been held in Lakshmipur district. The conference was held at the Kamalnagar Upazila branch BMSF meeting room at 7 pm on Friday, March 15, 2019. On this occasion, Kamalnagar Upazila branch convener Ismail Hossain Biplob presided over the conference, conducted by member secretary Ariful Islam (AI Tarek), and Kamalnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Iqbal Hossain was the chief guest. Upazila No. 5 Char Falkon Union Parishad Chairman Haji Harunur Rashid and Hazir Hat Bazar Banik Samity President Haji Syed Ayub Ali were the special guests. Among others, the meeting was addressed by Shariful Islam Bablu Bangla, Organizing Secretary of Kamalnagar Reporters Club, Kazi Delwar Hossain, Joint Convener of BMSF Kamalnagar Branch, BMSF Kamalnagar Branch Member, Nasir Uddin Mahmud, Sirajul Islam, etc. With the unanimous consent of the journalists present at the conference, the Kamalnagar Upazila Full Committee of BMSF was declared with Ariful Islam (AI Tarek) as the President, Muhammad Noman Siddiqui, Joint Editor of Shikshapata 24.com, as the General Secretary, Nasir Uddin (BSC) as the Vice President and Md. Sirajul Islam as the Joint General Secretary. At that time, a 5-member Vice-Advisory Council was formed with Ismail Hossain Biplob, former Upazila Convener and President of Kamalnagar Reporters Club, as the Head. At the conference, the leaders called for the establishment of a large unity among journalists in the country and the movement to realize their demands under the flag of BMSF.
