Real Madrid's French star Karim Benzema has won this year's Ballon d'Or, a French footballer won the Ballon d'Or two years after the last time Benzema won, Zinedine Zidane won in 1998.
The award was awarded to Benzema in the Chatley Theater in Paris on Monday night, which was the first time the French striker won the first individual bests trophy in recognition of his excellent performance last season.
