Bangladesh face India in a crucial match in the Super Twelve in Adelaide. Rohit Sharma's team elected to bat after losing the toss to keep their World Cup semi-final hopes alive. Team India set the Tigers a target of 185 runs with half-centuries from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.

Shakib Al Hasan's team got off to a flying start with the bat of Liton Das. However, the match was shortened due to rain. Bangladesh were set a target of 151 runs in 16 overs. In the end, Virat Kohli's team won by 5 runs thanks to the skill of the Indian bowlers.
