No plans to buy oil through India: State Minister

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahrir Alam has said that the government has no plan to buy oil from a third country through India.

He said Bangladesh can buy oil from India. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India will have a detailed discussion on energy cooperation with the country.

He said this to reporters during the Prime Minister's visit to India at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (September 4).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to India on Monday on a four-day state visit and will discuss various issues with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of bilateral issues.

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh will also meet with the President of India Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdish Dhanka, and the two countries will have seven agreements and agreements signed after the discussions at the level of the two countries.
