Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUTE) in Gazipur Professor of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. The government has appointed Mohammad Iqbal as Vice Chancellor. The general students of the university have rejected the notification of this appointment. And the police are urging them, and many students have been injured.

The students demand that Dutette Vice Chancellor should be appointed from the internal teachers of Dutette, according to them, the experience and concept of the university's own teachers about the education system, the reality, academic structure and administrative challenges of the Ductet will be more effective in the implementation of the Dutette's development and long-term plans.

Several videos showed several students injured in the clashes, students saying that the student group had attacked outsiders and many students were admitted to the hospital.
