Laxmipur: In the election of Alexander Unity (UP) Parishad of Ramgati Upazila of Laxmipur, the drama is going on in the nomination of Aomi League's chairman candidate. Abdullah Dalit has been accused of influencing councilors.
On Tuesday (November 14) afternoon, the Awami League's chairman candidate meeting was held to verify the candidate, where the BNP mission should be implemented in a pre-planned manner.
It has been alleged that the MP's preferred candidate has been held for the last upazila parishad election by keeping the councilors (14 people including the president and general secretary) and the candidate for the last upazila.
Ramgati Upazila BNP general secretary Jamal Uddin said Anonor Hossain has voted for BNP's candidate in the last upazila election. He has been held under the leadership of Upazila BNP advisor; he has not yet resigned from the party.
Ramgati Upazila Aomi League Organizing Secretary Abu Nasher said, MP Abdullah is doing BNP-Jamaat rehabilitation center in Ramgati. He has influenced the BNP advisor to give the nomination of the Aomi League and influenced them by holding the councilors.
Alexander Union Aomi League President Arif Howladar said that the councilors' votes were held twice before.
Member of Parliament of Laxmipur-4 (Ramgati and Kamalnagar) Constituency. Abdullah said that the fact that the councilors are influencing is not true. Annoyr Hossain joined the Aomi League in 2015. The candidates have been scrutinized based on the opinion of the Trinamool leaders.
Incidentally, the Alexander Union Parishad (UP) elections are scheduled to be held on December 28.
