Earlier, the lowest temperature recorded in the district on Monday was 13 degrees Celsius. Officer-in-Charge of the Srimangal Meteorological Department, Md. Anisur Rahman, confirmed this information.
The intensity of winter, dense fog and biting cold wind have disrupted public life in Srimangal. People are not leaving their homes unless necessary in the morning. The sudden increase in cold has increased the suffering of school and college-going students, ordinary workers and office-going people.
