Once again, the crown of Miss World has been lifted on the head of an Indian beauty. India's Manasi Chillar won the title at the 2017 Miss World competition.
The final round of the competition was held in China on Saturday at around 8 pm Bangladesh time.
Last year's Miss World Stephanie Del Valle crowned Mansi at the Sanya City Arena in China.
Chillar became the sixth Indian to win the Miss World title at the 67th edition. The first runner-up was Andrea Meza of Mexico, while Stephanie Hill of England came in third.
Manasi was born on May 14, 1997, in a family of doctors in Delhi. A student of St. Thomas School in Delhi, Manasi's father and mother are both doctors by profession. Manasi herself is a medical student. But she has always been known for her beauty pageants.
This beauty won the title of Miss India in 2016. And this time she has received the world's greatest honor. This is the fifth time that an Indian beauty has won this title.

This year's competition was held in the city of Arena in China. The final list included beauties from about 121 countries. From there, one by one, they made it to the top 40, and Manasi made it to the top five an hour before the announcement. Since then, she started dreaming of winning the world title. Then came the good news.
Previously, Aishwarya Rai won the Miss World title for India in 1994, Diana Hayden in 1997, and Priyanka Chopra in 2000.
