Moderate cold current is blowing in Panchagarh. Among them, the temperature of 6.1 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tentulia in Panchagarh at 9 am on Saturday, which is the lowest temperature in the country this season. Officer-in-charge of Tentulia Meteorological Observatory. Russell Shah has confirmed the matter first. Earlier last Thursday, the lowest temperature of the season was recorded at 6.3 degree Celsius in Chuadanga.

At 9 am today, the humidity in Tentulia was 95 percent. Prior to this, from January 5 to January 8, Panchagarh experienced mild cold for four consecutive days. On January 9, the temperature dropped further and moderate cold flow started. Since today till Saturday, the minimum day temperature in Tentulia has fluctuated between 6.1 degrees Celsius and 8.3 degrees Celsius. But almost every morning the sun has been seen.

Today is the lowest temperature day of the season. However, there was a bone-chilling cold wind from the north. Kabir Hossain (58), a farmer of Dudumari area of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila, started farming with cows despite the cold weather. Talked to him around 9 am today. Bringing up the topic of winter, Kabir Hossain said, 'It was cold at night, if it was cold there (now), it became difficult to work, Bapu. Fortunately, the sun is up in the morning, work can be done, but the coldness of the ground makes the paws (feet) sweaty. What to do if you have trouble! Hamra Krishak Mansi (Man), Kaja To Kariba Nagibe.'

Low income people like Kabir Hossain are in the most trouble in this severe winter. People's life has been disrupted due to the fog with the cold wind of the north. Around 10:00 a.m. the rickshaw driver. Noornabi said, 'Every afternoon when a cold wind blows, it is very cold. The rickshaw cannot be driven till late morning. Itan (for this) in the morning the sun is shining outside. (It will take) to go home from the afternoon.'

Officer-in-charge of Tentulia Meteorological Observatory. Russell Shah told Prothom Alo that a moderate cold current is currently flowing in Tentulia. Yesterday, Friday afternoon till midnight, the cold was felt a little less. However, the temperature suddenly dropped from this morning. However, people got some relief as the sun rose in the morning. As the sky is clear of clouds and fog, the sun's heat can spread to the surface. Although there is a cold current in it, the cold is felt relatively less.
