After signing the MoU or MoU of Bangladesh with the aim of strategic cooperation in the energy sector, there are various discussions, especially in the same way a trade agreement between the two countries in the same way a few months ago. After Bangladesh agreed to buy 15 billion or 15000 dollars worth of fuel from the United States in 15 years, now again the reconciliation of the energy sector has been created curiosity.
After the signing of the MoU, the Bangladesh Embassy in Oshington has come up with the issue of “diversifying the source of fuel” and the unveiling of a new field of “greater energy cooperation” between Bangladesh and the United States.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit told BBC Bangla that the main objective of this MoU is to ensure energy security in Bangladesh, especially for LPG and LNG, the United States can be an alternative source.
