Denmark wins Miss Universe for the first time. Victoria Kjer Thilvig was crowned by the 2023 winner, Shanice Palacios of Nicaragua

Miss Universe Denmark was first asked in the Q&A session, 'If no one evaluates you correctly, how will you survive?'‘

Victoria said, "I will live my life as I am. I will live my daily routine. No one else will determine how I live. If someone doesn't evaluate it correctly, that's their problem. Not mine."‘

The question for Victoria was, "Miss Universe has inspired generations of women. What do you have to say to the women watching you tonight?"‘

Victoria replied, "To those watching me from different parts of the world, I want to tell you, you cannot be judged by where you come from, what your past is. You can turn around in any situation. You have to keep fighting. I am standing here today because I want to change. I want to make history."‘

Victoria has been a dancer since childhood. This professional dancer is studying law. She raises awareness about mental health. She is also aware of animal rights.

This beauty also has her own beauty brand. Victoria was in the top 20 of Miss Grand International in 2022.

She was considered a strong contender from the beginning of Miss Universe 2024.

Miss Nigeria was the first runner-up and Miss Mexico was the second runner-up in the competition.

Miss Thailand and Miss Venezuela were in fourth and fifth positions. India's Riya Singh made it to the top 30 but missed out on the top 12.
