Training on disaster management in Ramgati

A two-day training on disaster management for CPP volunteers was organized by the Cyclone Preparedness Program (CPP) in Ramgati Upazila of Lakshmipur. The concluding ceremony of the training was organized at 10 am on Thursday in the classroom of Ramgati Girls Government Primary School. Earlier, a two-day training on disaster management began on November 15. 45 CPP volunteers participated in this training funded by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief. The chief trainer in the said program was CPP Deputy Director (Noakhali Region) Md. Sharafat Hossain Khan. CPP's Thana Team Leader Mainuddin and CPP's Union Team Leader Mir Khabir Uddin Mia were also present at the time. CPP Deputy Director Md. Sharafat Hossain Khan said that through the Cyclone Preparedness Program (CPP) training, volunteers from various units of CPP's upazila will receive proper training and play a great role in all natural disasters like cyclones. Note: Training on management of volunteers organized under the Cyclone Preparedness Program (CPP) will be held in each unit of each union of the district.
