Memorial meeting for language soldier Comrade Towaha in Lakshmipur

Lakshmipur: On the occasion of the 30th death anniversary of the founder of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (ML), language soldier, late Comrade Md. Towaha, a wreath-laying ceremony, condolence rally and memorial meeting were held at the tomb in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur. The memorial meeting was organized at Towaha's Smriti Girls' High School grounds on Monday (November 27) afternoon.
The chief guest at the meeting was Comrade Dilip Barua, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (ML) and former minister.
Laxmipur District Socialist Party General Secretary Nurul Amin presided over the event, with special guests - Kamalnagar Upazila 14-Party Alliance President Advocate Anwarul Haque, Politburo members Comrades Lutfar Rahman, Dhiren Singha, Saiful Islam, Central Committee members Mohim Uddin Mohim, Advocates Anairul Haque, Didarul Alam, and Towaha Memorial Girls' High School President Advocate Abul Khair.
The school's headmaster AKM Zahid Billah, school management committee member Monirul Haque and local leaders also spoke.
Before the memorial meeting, Dilip Barua, along with party leaders and activists, held a condolence rally in memory of the late language soldier Comrade Towaha and laid wreaths at his tomb.
