Chhatra League leaders and activists have arrested a Shibir activist who attacked them during a secret Shibir meeting in Ramganj, Lakshmipur, and handed him over to the police.
The attack was carried out on the roof of Zia Shopping Complex on Thursday morning (December 14) under the leadership of Municipal Chhatra League President Sohel Chowkia. During this, Chhatra League leaders and activists beat up a Shibir activist named Russell and handed him over to the police.
It is learned that Shibir activists were holding a secret meeting on the roof of Zia Shopping Complex in Ramganj Municipality. At that time, the leaders and activists led by the president of the municipal Chhatra League, Sohel Chowkia, attacked and beat up a Shibir activist named Russell and handed him over to the police. Russell Hossain is the son of Bachchu Mia of Karim Uddin Bepari house in Satarpara, Municipality.
SI Zahirul Islam said that Shibir activist Russell has been sent to Lakshmipur District Jail.
