An allegation has been made against Mohiuddin Suman, the scoundrel son of Haji Nurul Islam of Dhangazi Hawladar Bari in ITiatoli village of Sadar upazila, for filing a false and baseless harassment case against journalist Ismail Hossain Jabu, who was the executive editor of the national daily Khabor and the local daily Manab Kalyan while performing his professional duties in Lakshmipur.

It is learned that last Sunday (September 17), Sumon tried to forcibly occupy 13 percent of the land of his two brothers Kamal and expatriate Akter Hossain in 804 plots of land with 4 khatians in Atiatoli Mouza No. 88 under Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila. At that time, Ismail Hossain Jabu and some journalists went to the spot after receiving the news. When they took pictures on camera, Sumon became angry and at one point he was beaten up. In order to prevent these incidents from being reported, he filed a false case against the journalists. There are allegations of terrorism, extortion and various misdeeds against Sumon in the area. In addition, there are allegations against him that he is harassing the helpless and innocent people of the area by giving various false garlands.

At that time, some journalists along with me received the news and went to the spot and took pictures of the forcible occupation of the land, and Sumon became angry and filed a false and harassing case to cover up the incident.
After searching the area, it was found that there are 8/10 cases against him, including terrorism and extortion. Moreover, he is harassing people by filing false cases.
