Volunteer group protest and march in Lakshmipur

 Lakshmipur: A protest march has been held in Lakshmipur to protest the attack on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's motorcade.
 The procession was organized on Wednesday (November 1) afternoon by the district volunteer group.

The procession started from the city's Old Court Road and ended at the premises of Lakshmipur Adarsh Samad High School.

Present at the time were - District Volunteer Party Joint Convener Advocate Mohsin Kabir Swapan, Volunteer Party leaders Saifuzzaman Sharif, Zakir Bhuiyan, Jamal Uddin and Harunur Rashid.

On Tuesday (October 31), on the way back to Dhaka after distributing relief to the Rohingya, 20/25 unidentified youths threw petrol bombs next to Khaleda Zia's motorcade in Mahipal, Feni and set the bus on fire. Two buses of Shanta Paribahan were burnt in the incident. In addition to the gunfire, cocktails or bombs also exploded at this time.
