After the abduction in Chittagong, another part of the body of Alina Islam Atat, who was cut off, was recovered.
The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) recovered Alina's head from the sluicegate area near Akmal Ali Ghat in Bandartila of Chittagong city around 10 am on Thursday.
PBI Chittagong Inspector Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury confirmed the poison.
He told the media that they have been conducting a search operation for six days and this morning when a team of PBI went to the spot, the local fishermen told about a fragmented head and later recovered the head and informed Alina's family. The family confirmed that the head was Alina's head.
Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, Alina's two legs were recovered from the same area.
Incidentally, Alina, who went missing on November 15, after 10 days of her disappearance, the family members came to know that Alina was killed and thrown into pieces.
Alina, the home of EPZ police station in the city, was a local grocery store owner, who was a local grocery store who was abducted from a nearby school.
Police say Abir Mita (19) who had kidnapped Alina for the ransom Ada was arrested on November 25. She confessed to the police about the murder.
