The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has suspended the Deota Rata of the High Court till October 23, canceling the provision of the government's prior permission to arrest government officials and employees.

The Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Hasan Fatz Siddiqui passed the order this morning, with lawyer Manzil Morsed on behalf of the writ in the court, and Attorney General AM Amin Uddin was on the side of the state.

Earlier, on August 25, the High Court canceled the provision of the government's prior permission to arrest government employees, the court said that Article 41(1) of the Public Service Act, 2018 is illegal, unconstitutional and unconstitutional.

Justice Md. Mojibur Rahman Mita and Justice Kazi Md. The High Court bench, which was concurred with Izarul Haque Akand, declared the Raats to be suspended and the state filed an appeal to the Appellate Division.
