There has been a counter-case in the case of a clash over the possession of government land leased in Araihajar of Narayanganj. On Saturday, Mahmuda Akhtar Meem filed a case as the plaintiff, which included 12 names and accused some unknown persons.
Earlier on Friday, another person named Delwar Hossain along with General Secretary of Upazila Chhatra League Saddam Hossain along with Saddam Hossain in the case of another person named Delwar Hossain 9 names and some unknown persons were accused.
According to the upazila land office and local sources, about 2.52 acres of government land in Duptara Satyavandi area was leased to Abu Taher in 1985. In 2017, the government residential vocational training center was canceled and the government residential vocational training center was established in 2017. At the time of the lease, local Abu Taher, Wahab Mia, Md. Musa, Nurul Haque, Maqbul Hossain and Abu Hanif Mia lived in the joint family.
Later, when the joint family broke up, there was a dispute over the share of the land, due to the lease in the name of Abu Taher. The others did not agree to give to others, and the father of the upazila Chhatra League general secretary Saddam Hossain, Musa, applied to the UNO three months ago for the distribution of land. On August 29, UNO Ishtiaq Ahmed went there and asked everyone to remain calm.
Later, Abu Taher's family clashed with others and at one point, at one point, he clashed with indigenous weapons, and at least 10 people were injured. Two days later, on Friday, on Friday, Delwar Hossain, the son of Abu Taher, filed a case against his uncle and cousins, and his cousin's wife Mahmuda Akhtar filed a counter-suit on Saturday.
Upazila Chhatra League general secretary Saddam Hossain said that the land was taken by the father and uncles when they were together. The dispute is going on and on August 29, when they tried to stop the quarrel, they were beaten by them, but Delwar Hossain said that the opponent had attacked to grab the land leased in the name of his father.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ishtiaq Ahmed said, under what circumstances the government land has been leased and the contribution of the brothers, the matter will be resolved by verifying all the issues.
